Dr. Ahmed Tijjani Ramalan (FCILT, FCI, MNI UK,Dsc) is the Executive Chairman ATAR COMMUNICATION Nigeria Limited, owners of Liberty Radio 91.7FM Kaduna and Owners of Liberty TV Kaduna).

Dr. Ramalan is Graduate of Richmond American International University of London, a Fellow Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport United Kingdom, (FCILT) Fellow Chartered Institute of Shipping of Nigeria (FCIS) and Member Nautical Institute, United Kingdom (MNI).

He was the Pioneer Executive Chairman of Joint Maritime Industrial Council (JOMALIC) and also the Pioneer Chairman of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

Mohammed YusuF Suleiman (Sports Editor )

Nickname MOWIZ THE KING gotten from a combination of “Mohammed the Wizard” Known for his speedy and smooth delivery of the latest sport gist breaking from tennis, boxing, golf, athletics, cycling and football. He is the anchor, producer and presenter of Liberty Radio’s ‘Liberty Sports Ride (7:30-8am), Sports Ride Reloaded (4-5pm) and Fixture Analysis (4-5pm) on Sunday.
Mowiz has handled world cup commentaries on the Broadcasters Organisation Of Nigeria (BON) network and Supersport Africa champions League coverage.

 

Sa’id carpenter

Sa’id Carpenter has been in broadcasting world for the past 24 years. The learned presenter, artiste cum DJ track records include  Kaduna’s FRCN 96.1 FM’ DJ , Managing Director  Media Max, the first private digital Audiovisual and print studio in Kaduna , General Manager  Zuma FM Abuja and Production Manager Vision FM Abuja. Sa’id is a Writer, Poet, Graphic artist and Music composer.  He’s currently a manager at Liberty Radio.

 

 

TOYIN ALABI

The veteran broadcaster is the station General Manager, and the Producer of Guest of the Week and Issues /Events, the hot and award winning current affairs programs on Liberty Radio.

 

 

Usman Ahmad Kabara

Usman Ahmad Kabara worked as a presenter, associate producer, audio editor and sound designer, translator and transcriber with the BBC World Service Trust, Nigeria (Now BBC Media Action). He has ND/HND in Mass Communication and six years of experience gained from BBC WST with its Media Skills Acquisition Training makes him standout in a crowd.

 

Currently, a Principal Producer and Supervisor Programmes (Hausa) with Liberty Radio.  Kabara likes watching films, reading novel and exercise. Among many laurels won by Kabara include:
Recognition Award from NIGERIAN URBAN REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH INITIATIVE (NURHI), GANGARIYA RADIO AWARD’s Producer of the Year Hausa, The Youth Program he presented with BBC WST on HIV Called ‘Ya Take Ne’ won the NIGERIAN MEDIA MERIT AWARD’s Best Hausa Program of the Year and few others

 

Jacqueline Adebija

Jacqueline Adebija,  is the Presenter and Producer of LIBERTY FM’s HEALTH MATTERS,PEOPLE’S MANDATE & TIKA & HAKA .
She is an extrovert and a Virgoan who believes that human eyes are the “windows to the soul” and acknowledges that she will never get tired of meeting people, making friends and travelling to new places.

Bello Zulayhat

Bello Zulayhat is a native of Kwara state. The 9th of 10 girls has worked with Rave Magazine Kaduna, Capital TV Kaduna, Raypower FM Kaduna and now pitching her tent with Liberty Radio. ZEATY as she’s being fondly called by her fans, has been nominated for different awards as outstanding OAP and best female presenter! She is energetic and loves meeting people! Jeffrey Isaacs

Jeffrey Isaacs is one of the top 10 Liberty radio OAP’s. Studied Mass Communication at the University of Jos, with broadcasting career experience of 17 year, a three times award winner of ‘Best Presenter of the Year 2005 as conferred by polo club, Best Music Presenter 2010 and 2011 respectively conferred by the University of Jos (National Management Society of Nigeria). Jeffrey who is nicknamed Prince Peace, also won Gangariya Award’s Best Musical program in 2013. He’s a member of United Nations Organization for Peace and manages Liberty Radio’s events and promotions. Jeffrey is currently the presenter of the award winning flagship musical program, Party Time on every Friday night and Talent Gazing on Wednesdays at 13:30 to 14:30 CAT. The native of Pankshin L.G.A of Plateau State, always preach peace while creativity is his hobby.

 

 SAGIR KANO SALEH

This Mass Communication graduate of Bayero University, Kano, started his broadcasting as artiste Radio Announcer with the Kaduna State Media Corporation’s Kada FM and later the AM Service, after which he proceeded to the print media, working with Iqra’ Publishing House, as Assistant Manager Admin. While there, he supervised a project on the translation into Hausa and English as well as editing of one hundred and ten Arabic books authored by the three renowned leaders of the Sokoto Empire, Sheikh Uthman Bn Fodio, Sheikh Abdullahi Bn Fodio and Sheikh Muhammad Bello.

Sagir later switched back to his career in broadcasting with the emergence of Liberty Radio, where he currently works. He started as English News Editor 1 in Liberty Radio and rose to Assistant Manager, News Current Affairs and Politics. He is currently the Assistant Manager, News and Programmes (Hausa Service).

Though he used to write and present Wasikar Malam Komai Da Ruwanka (an innuendo in Hausa), he is the producer and Editor of Liberty Weekly News Review and Jaridun Makon Jiya. News casting in both (Englsh and Hausa), commentary, translation, as well as co-presentation of Views in the News are among other things he does at the moment.

Sagir is a native of Gezawa in Tsanyawa Local Government Area of Kano State. He likes reading and keeping cool. He is married and blessed with children.

KUMSAT MUSA

A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She anchors an award winning Hausa program called ‘CIWO IYA MACE’

 

Peter O. Brodrick (Baby Love DJ Ghost)

Liberty radio’s Assistant Manager Presentation.

He joined the broadcasting industry in 1991 as a Rock ‘N’ Roll presenter, later became a Duty Continuity Announcer (DCA) also a Producer and Presenter of the most interactive programme on radio called ‘Liberty Hotline’, alongside the most popular pidgin programme ‘ Obodo Naija’ which has over 2 million listeners.

Babalasisi as Peter O. Brodrick is also fondly call, is a popular name on Radio irrespective of tribe, religion and culture basically creating humour on radio and outside the broadcasting industry. Babalasisi is ambassador of peace,a professional trainer and coordinator of Black Diamond Entertainment, Kaduna.

 

Facts about Liberty Radio 

Liberty Radio 91.7FM is a Private and Independent Station Broadcasting from Kaduna, the Political Melting Pot of Northern Nigeria.

 

It started full Commercial Broadcasting in 2012, and within two years of Broadcasting has won the Gangariya Radio Award’s ‘Station of the Year 2013’ and the NBMA 2013 ‘Best Radio Station of the Year’ North, including Abuja.

 

It is the only Station in the North that broadcasts 24/7 and it is also online with over 15million online and terrestrial listeners. Liberty radio provides the medium that offers the people a platform for their voices to be heard.
