Coast is finally cleared for the highly anticipated third edition of Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA). The yearly event that is being packaged by The Reality Entertainment is now scheduled for Sunday December 2, 2012 at NECA House, Plot A2, Hakeem Balogun Street, Central Business District, Alausa, Ikeja Lagos.

More over as a build up for this year’s NBMA an Exclusive Nominees Party is billed to hold on Saturday November 24, at Club Rumors, Oduduwa Way, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

Oyo State Governor Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi and his Ogun State counterpart, Governor Ibikunle Amosu has been pencilled down alongside Otunba Alex Onabanjo, DJ Jimmy Jatt and Sola Fajobi for Special Recognition Awards.

Aside inducting Yanju Adegbite, Paul Bassey, Christopher Bolarinwa Marquis and Bisi Olatilo, into NBMA’s Hall of Fame, Engineer Amin Moussalli, Wale Adenuga and Chief Muritala Gbadeyanka will be honoured with the Life Time Achievement Awards for their immensurable contribution to the development of Nigerian electronic media.

There are also competitive categories for the reigning and rising On-Air Personalities, whose presence cannot be ignored on airwaves. There are more than 20 categories to be contested by the practising OAPs not just in Lagos but across the federation.

Among the lined-up programmes that will add glitz and glamour to the event includes, Fashion Show, red carpet reception, live studio broadcast,   command performances from top rated music stars and humour merchants and other side attractions. Nigerian Broadcasters Awards 2012 promises to be an evening to remember.
