After having successful hosted two editions, the stake is now high as Nigerian Broadcasters’ Nite repackages! Aside the fact that the monthly event solely
designed to further celebrate broadcasters, On-Air Personalities, TV and Radio stations, has been rescheduled from every last Thursdays of the month to last Saturdays of the month, two winners of the yearly Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA) will henceforth square up for the night of glitz and razzmatazz. Relatively, popular DJ, Rainbow 94.1 FM’s finest, DJ Chascolee, is now the official DJ of Nigerian Broadcasters Nite!
However, come Saturday July 27, it will be the turn of model, singer, actor cum presenter, Uti Nwachukwu and famous TV presenter, Labi Olayori, to be celebrated at the Nigerian Broadcasters’ Nite, holding at ‘Club Vegas; the celebrity hangout, situated along Sheraton – Opebi link Road in Ikeja, Lagos.
It would be recalled that Labi Olayori who works with TV Continental (TVC) emerged Most Popular TV Personality during the second edition of Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA) that was held in 2011, while Uti Nwachukwu, the co-host of popular TV programme Jara, was crowned ‘The sexiest On-Air Personality’ in Nigeria during the 2012 edition.
It’s no doubt that Uti and Labi are currently on top of their games. Ever since the model turned TV host, Labi Olayori joined Continental Broadcasting Service (CBS), owners of Radio Continental and Television Continental, the delectable screen beauty has been growing in fame with Entertainment Splash, as her daily programme has hosted all the big names in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
For Uti Nwachukwu, prior to his emergence as the winner of the fifth edition of Africa’s biggest TV reality show, Big Brother Africa All Stars, the ladies man had steadily risen as one of the faces that had come to stay in the Nigerian entertainment industry. With age and the look on his side, Uti has not only become a top model, he has also proven to be multitalented. Apart from making a debut into the music scene with two songs, Uti is a gifted actor and has featured in a couple of box office hits like ‘In The Cupboard’, ‘Broken Silence’, ‘True Citizen’ among others.
Now that the stage is set, there is no doubt as to what to expect when these two amazing OAPs emerge for the Night. Aside Uti and Labi, Nigeria’s foremost DJ cum singer, DJ Stramborella is the event’s Special Guest.

Red carpet is slated for 9pm with special performances from rising and shining music stars. The event which will be anchored by ace comedian, De-Don, would also witness a special birthday bash for The Reality Entertainment’s newly discovered artiste known as Hercules.
