WHY NBMA?
The Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA) serves as a beacon of recognition and celebration of the exceptional contributions of broadcasters and On-air Personalities (OAPs) within the Nigerian electronic media landscape. This distinguished event, established in 2010 by CrystalPearl Communications, aims to honor and appreciate the individuals and corporate entities that have significantly contributed to the growth and development of the country’s media industry.
Despite the pivotal role played by these media personalities in educating, informing, and entertaining the populace, the recognition and appreciation they deserve have not been adequately acknowledged within the entertainment industry. The NBMA seeks to rectify this oversight by acknowledging these outstanding individuals, who act as role models, mentors, and agents of positive social change.

TERMS and CONDITIONS:
Nominees are allowed to contest (in a category) only once every three years but winner can be re-nominated if he or she met the terms and conditions apply to re-nomination process. It is our hope that this will inspire others to strive for perfection, and therefore recognition.
The Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA), as the name implies, is a pioneer national award for the broadcasters, created in 2010. The yearly ceremony is designed d to celebrate, honour, and appreciate past, current and dead broadcasters, who have distinguished themselves as role models, mentors, and propagators of social change in the society.
