With over 150 contestants, Charles Alade has emerged the winner after 24-week of searching for best original song that captures the unique spirit of Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA), the annual award ceremony that is solely designed for the broadcasting industry.
Coincidentally, Charles Alade otherwise known as Hebby is a broadcaster who is currently ‘peddling’ his trade with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Ibadan. It may also interest you to know that Hebby is not only a voice that is synonymous with radio; he’s a music producer, voiceover artiste and sings for the Lord.
Hebby has his background in Music Technology from the Polytechnic Ibadan. He is a multi instrumentalist with an exceptional vocal dynamics. He has the ability to sing on any subject and create exciting tunes to convey clear messages to his listeners, these has earned him the platform to produce jingle for several industries and three governorship aspirant across Nigeria.
Hebby has several Hit singles to his credit one of which is ‘Special to Me’; a song that has received massive airplay and thousands of downloads online.
He wrote, sang and produced the NBMA theme song that gave him a nod as an artiste to headline the seventh edition of the prestigious Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA).
Hebby will be issued an NBMA Certificate of Honour and also get a year management and promotional deal from, Crystal Pearl Communications, the organisers of the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards (NBMA).
